iBeacon as a POS

I am currently working on developing a mobile application that will serve as a platform for bars and nightlife to connect to their customers. We have a team of developers punching out the code as I write this but we are looking to incorporate iBeacon technology eventually as a POS system to free up workers in the labor-heavy intensive nightlife industry.

As I am not taking the normal ibeacon approach of pushing ads or coupons out I went to link ibeacons to an existing application as a point of sale system. Any advice helps…

Not sure how this would work since the beacons don’t actually receive any information.
