
iOS 7.1.2 brings iBeacon update
Apple released the anticipated iOS 7.1.2 update this morning. As expected, the update contains bug fixes and security updates. Of main interest, the update contains an iBeacon fix:

“improves iBeacon connectivity and stability”
Pretty vague, eh? Our guess is the changes are too insignificant to make a material impact on anything developers have in the works.
We’ll keep you updated as we take a look into the changes ourselves.
Also of interest, it seems that updating to iOS 7.1.2 re-enables Bluetooth on iOS devices which have previously disabled it. Intentional or not on Apple’s part? Seems a bit too trivial to be intentional, however.
